Why we built it

It started with one question from the back seat.

"How much longer till we can stop?"

We're a family that road-trips with kids and dogs — which means someone always needs a bathroom. And out on the open road you're left guessing: Is there a rest stop coming up? A gas station? And the question that really matters — will it actually be nice, or should we hold out for that great stop we loved last time?

So we built the app we kept wishing we had. One glance shows how far to the next rest stop and gas station — and how far to that highly-rated stop you remember — so you can decide in a second: pull off now, or wait twenty minutes for the good one.

That little decision, made a hundred times a trip, is the whole reason Road Trippin' Buddy exists.
